JOEY PAGE is one of the most unique and exciting rising stars in the business.
Hailed as the future of stand-up Joey has been storming the circuit with his trail blazing brand of ‘Indie Comedy’ that is surreal and inventive. Joey’s enigmatic and charming presence brings about an instant rapport with his audiences.
The style and subject matter of his material is unlike that of any other out there, making him one of the most unique and memorable acts you will see. With four years experience Joey has has become established at such prestigious gigs as Amused Moose, The Comedy Tree, and the Pleasance and Bloomsbury Theatres.
He recently made an astonishing appearance alongside Luke McQueen on Channel 4’s ‘Coach Trip’ where they amused their fellow tourists with laughter, fashion and a quick two-step – they lasted three days. He is currently embarking on his own projects for BBC Radio 1 and So television.
“He’s surreal, silly and has an air of vulnerable naivity … this innately likeable young man has an instinct for funny.”
CHORTLE
“Joey Page is brilliantly inventive and imaginative and very funny”

Half-Greek, half-Austrian, Austrian born PAT BURTSCHER was raised in Canada and doesn’t enjoy writing about himself, and since he’s writing this he’s not experiencing that much joy, but it is better than almost dying in a car crash. That car crash, however, lead to him quitting his job and chasing his dreams.
Pat was a Finalist in the both the Laughing Horse and Hackney Empire new act competitions in 2008. Although relatively new to the UK comedy scene Pat possesses the confidence and poise of a veteran comedian. So hopefully this will lead to something joyous as well. Thank you and good morning/day/night/afternoon!
“Canadian Pat Burtscher has the air of an acid casualty, gazing at an angle to the floor or to the middle-distance while random thoughts tumble out of his mouth
… very ambiguous as to whether he’s a random genius … or just a slighty unhinged oddball.”

LUKE McQUEEN is an energetic and charming act, with some challenging questions and great observational material always told with a playful sense of fun.
As well as appearing on Channel 4’s ‘Coach Trip’ alongside Joey Page (see above) Luke has appeared many times on British television including a guest spot on Sky Poker, a T.V commercial for Clearasil and also as one of the stars of Embarrassing Illnesses, showing off his trademark third nipple. Something that often features in his set.
As well as this Luke has worked with and performed sketches for the BBC and recorded a hidden camera show for ITV, and in 2008, Luke was asked to be the warm-up act for the Gok Won fashion show which he fitted into easily because of his natural confidence and quick witted banter.
In 2007, Luke appeared at the Edinburgh festival for the first time appearing in the award winning comedy club Amused Moose’s festival show, “Hot starlets”, featuring the best up and coming stand up’s from around the whole of the UK.
The following year, Luke was back in Edinburgh as part of a sketch group named “The Gadabouts”. They performed to sell out audiences at the Pleasance dome and received great reviews, showing great writing and acting skills as well as the all important comedy timing. As well as this, Luke stuck to his main goal and put on his own stand up show with one other comic doing 30 minutes of stand up every day for the festival run.
“Some of the best jokes that I have heard in years!!!”
ADAM BLOOM
